PACE Financial Servicing Joins the U.S. Department of Energy’s Commercial PACE Working Group
The Commercial PACE Working Group is a cohort of state and local governments working together to learn about, launch, and refine C-PACE financing programs. The goal of their efforts is to stimulate $60 million in C-PACE investments by 2022.
WASHINGTON, DC – PACE Financial Servicing, LLC (PFS) has joined the U.S. Department of Energy’s Commercial PACE Working Group as a Market Partner.
The Commercial PACE Working Group is a cohort of state and local governments working together to learn about, launch, and refine C-PACE financing programs. This DOE initiative will leverage technical assistance from leading C-PACE experts and market partners to:
- Develop tools and solutions to barriers facing state and local governments
- Convene peer exchanges to showcase public-sector leadership and effective public-private partnerships
- Provide information from leading technical experts.
The goal of these efforts is to stimulate $60 million in C-PACE investments by 2022.
The Working Group has received approximately 65 Expressions of Interest to-date including 30 for participation in the State and Local Track, and 35 for participation in the Market Partner Track. PFS is excited and honored to join these partners in supporting C-PACE financing via this initiative. Together, the Working Group participants will develop tools and solutions to C-PACE barriers facing state and local governments.
Additionally, PFS has joined one of the Working Group’s sub-groups, the new C-PACE Market Assessment and Data Group. The purpose of this ad hoc group is to provide voluntary input on the development, modification, and application of analytical tools for the benefit of commercial PACE financing program creation and implementation. This group offers an opportunity to gather C-PACE stakeholders to learn about, “test drive,” and provide critical feedback to improve national lab developed tools, so that DOE can incorporate recommendations to better serve the public and market needs.
PFS looks forward to supporting the efforts of the U.S. DOE and its industry colleagues.
